I have never cried over an American Idol Finale …

… until now. Phillip deserves an amazing music career and so does Jessica.

I don’t mind if you personally aren’t a fan of Phillip Phillips

Just as long as you don’t bash him or his fans.

Also, as long as you don’t come up with absurd reasons why he doesn’t belong in the finale (he’s just another WGWG, he’s only there because he’s attractive etc.)

Just because you don’t like his voice doesn’t mean everybody else doesn’t.

Like I said, I don’t mind if you aren’t a fan but just respect the ones who are.

Just as long as Phillip ends up happy, healthy, and with a successful music career…

…it doesn’t even matter if he wins or loses.

I don’t know what to do

Originally I wanted Phillip to be the runner up because I felt he would be more successful that way, but then I heard him sing his Winner’s song and it was amazing. It did remind me of Mumford and Sons, which is the type of artist I’d hope Phillip would be.

Now I fear if he does win that either he will be compared to other WGWG’s or he will get screwed over by American Idol trying to manufacture him.

Whatever happens, I just wish success for him and Jessica.

I guess I’m the only one who still ships Holly J and Fiona together

I’m a HUGE fan of Phillip Phillips

but I honestly rather have Jessica win. I feel that Phillip would be more successful being the runner up rather than winning and getting a generic pop contract. He can be way more successful without it. As for Jessica, I think she can pull off having a generic pop contract just like Kelly Clarkson and Jordin Sparks
